Sold41mmStainless Steel
An Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, ref. 212.30.41.20.01.002, in a 41mm steel case. The black dial is laser-engraved with the wave pattern that has defined the Seamaster since the 1990s, and the skeleton hands float over it with lume-filled tips. A black diving bezel, a helium escape valve at ten o'clock and a scalloped edge complete one of the most recognizable profiles in watchmaking. Inside is the Omega co-axial calibre 2500. It came on its steel bracelet. This is the Seamaster at full strength.
Omega introduced the Seamaster Professional Diver 300M in 1993, with the wave dial, skeleton hands and helium escape valve that still define it today. Two years later it appeared on the wrist of James Bond in GoldenEye, and the partnership has run through every Bond film since. The watch evolved steadily, gaining Omega's co-axial escapement in the 2000s through the calibre 2500 family. This 212 generation is the last of the classic wave dial era before Omega's 2018 redesign, which moved to a ceramic bezel and a new movement. For many collectors it is the purest expression of the 300M. It remains one of the defining dive watches of its generation.
We sourced this watch because the wave dial is one of the great designs of modern watchmaking, and this generation shows it at its sharpest. Black on black, with that engraved surface catching light across the dial, it looks technical and glamorous at once. The skeleton hands are the other giveaway: no other dive watch looks quite like this, and you can spot it from across a room. Add the helium escape valve and the scalloped bezel and you have a silhouette that has barely needed to change in decades. The co-axial calibre 2500 gives it the mechanical upgrade the original never had. It is the classic Bond-era Seamaster, done right. Curated with intent.
