Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Maison KN website and any purchase, sale or consignment arranged through it. By using the site, you accept them.

A. General

These terms apply to everyone who uses the site, buys from us, sells to us or consigns with us. We may update them from time to time, and the version posted on the day you place an order or sign a consignment agreement is the one that applies to that transaction. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

B. The Company and the Site

Maison KN is operated by Maison KN Inc, a Texas corporation headquartered in Austin, Texas. The site is a catalogue of pieces we hold or can source. It is not an automated storefront. Listing a watch is an invitation to enquire, and no sale is final until we confirm it in writing and receive cleared payment.

C. Price and Payment

All prices are in US dollars. Unless stated otherwise, they include insured domestic shipping and exclude sales tax, duties and import charges. We accept bank wire, Zelle, Wise and PayPal. A price is held only once we have confirmed the sale in writing. Payment is due in full within [24 hours] of confirmation unless we agree otherwise.

Where required by law, we collect sales tax on orders delivered within the United States. On international orders, the buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes and brokerage fees in the destination country unless we agree in writing to ship duties paid.

D. Consignment

We sell watches on behalf of their owners under a written consignment agreement. The asking price and our commission are agreed with you in that agreement before anything is listed. A one-time consignment fee of $100 covers shipping labels and handling.

Consigned pieces are held for an initial term of [90 days]. While in our care, they are stored securely and fully insured. If a piece doesn’t sell, we return it to the address you gave us, fully insured and at our cost. Payment to the consignor is made within [7 business days] after the buyer’s funds clear and the buyer’s inspection period closes.

E. Shipping and Delivery

All orders ship by FedEx, fully insured for the purchase price, with adult signature required. Orders typically ship within [2 business days] of cleared payment. We ship within the United States and to selected international destinations. Please contact us before purchasing from outside the US.

F. Acceptance and Refusal

We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including where we cannot verify the buyer’s identity or payment, where a transaction raises sanctions or fraud concerns, or where a piece turns out not to be as described. If we cancel, any payment received is refunded in full.

G. All Sales Are Final

All sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations for any reason, including change of mind, fit, or preference.

The only exception is a watch that is materially not as described. If that is the case, you must notify us in writing within two business days of delivery, with photos showing the issue. If we confirm the claim, the watch must be returned in exactly the condition it was delivered in, with all accessories, packaging and security tags intact. Refunds are issued only after we have received and inspected the watch.

A watch that has been sized, opened, serviced, polished, adjusted or altered in any way after delivery will not be accepted back under any circumstances, even if it was not as described. Claims made after the two-business-day window will be considered on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion.

Every watch is described and photographed in detail, including its flaws. Please review every photo and ask every question before you buy.

H. Holds and Wire Transfer

We do not take deposits. If you would like us to hold a watch, please contact us directly.

Our bank details are confirmed only by phone or on an invoice from a maisonkn.com address. We will never change our bank details by email. If you receive a message saying otherwise, contact us before sending any payment.

I. Risk and Ownership

Every watch travels insured under our shipping label, and we carry the risk of loss or damage until it is delivered to you. Responsibility for the watch passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes to you once payment has been received in full and the funds have cleared.

J. Third-Party Links and Information

Links to other sites, references to auction results, and market or historical information are provided for context only. We don’t control third-party sites, and we don’t warrant the accuracy of outside information.

K. Warranty, Indemnity and Liability

We guarantee that every watch we sell is authentic. Where a watch still carries its original manufacturer warranty, we will say so in the listing, and any claim under that warranty is handled by the manufacturer. Brand names and references are used for identification only, and Maison KN is not affiliated with any manufacturer.

Our total liability on any transaction is limited to the purchase price paid. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from false information you provide or from your misuse of the site.
