231.10.42.21.02.003, SEAMASTER AQUA TERRA, CREAM DIAL
Sold41.5mmStainless Steel
An Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra, ref. 231.10.42.21.02.003, in a 41.5mm steel case. The dial is a warm cream, almost ivory, cut with the vertical lines of the Teak Concept pattern, and it softens the whole watch beautifully. Polished applied indices and a date at three keep things classic. Inside is the Master Co-Axial calibre 8500, resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,000 gauss, visible through a sapphire caseback. Water resistance is 150 meters. It came on its steel bracelet, which gives the warm dial a crisp, all-steel frame.
Omega launched the Aqua Terra in 2002 inside the Seamaster family, conceived as a watch that could go from a sailboat deck to a boardroom. The vertical lines on its dial were a direct nod to the teak decking of classic yachts, and they have defined the model ever since. Over the years the Aqua Terra became the testing ground for Omega's modern in-house movements, beginning with the co-axial calibre 8500 family. The Master Co-Axial generation pushed things further by resisting magnetic fields above 15,000 gauss. This reference belongs to that generation, in the larger 41.5mm size. It is the Aqua Terra in its most refined, technically complete form.
We sourced this watch because the dial color is the whole point. Silver and blue Aqua Terras are everywhere, but this creamy, ivory tone gives the teak lines a warmth that almost reads vintage, without a single vintage compromise underneath. That contrast is what makes it special: an old-world dial over a movement that shrugs off 15,000 gauss. On the steel bracelet the cream glows against all that brushed and polished metal. At 41.5mm it has presence without bulk. It is the kind of watch you notice a little more every time you look down. Curated with intent.
