A Cartier Pasha C Big Date, ref. 2475, in stainless steel at 35mm. The white dial carries an oversized double-window date beneath twelve, framed by four bold Arabic numerals and a railroad minute track. Blued hands cut across it, and the crown is protected by the Pasha's signature cover, capped with a blue cabochon. Inside is an automatic movement. It is worn on Cartier's steel bracelet with its H-shaped links and deployant clasp, and it comes with its box.
The Pasha arrived in 1985 as Cartier's bold round watch, in a house better known for its squares. The Pasha C followed as a smaller steel line that brought the same design into everyday wear. The Big Date added one more flourish: a large two-window date at twelve, set where the numeral would normally sit.
We sourced it for the date. The double window at twelve is big, clear and a little theatrical, exactly the kind of flourish the Pasha was built for. Against the white dial, the blued hands and the blue cabochon pull the design together in a single colour. The bracelet is full and well finished, with Cartier's H-shaped links running all the way to the clasp. It is the brighter, more playful side of the Pasha. Curated with intent.
