10-66-18-09-04, SPORT CHRONOGRAPH SENIOR

Sold41.5mmStainless Steel

A Glashütte Original Sport Chronograph Senior, ref. 10-66-18-09-04, in stainless steel at 41.5mm. Twelve facets shape the bezel and case, sharp as cut stone and ringed by a tachymeter scale. The black dial stays clean and date-free, with applied triangular markers and three subdials. Through the sapphire caseback, numbered Nr. 0250, runs the automatic chronograph calibre 10-60 with 48 jewels. It is worn on Glashütte Original's faceted steel bracelet.

Watchmaking in Glashütte, Saxony, dates to 1845, when Ferdinand Adolph Lange opened the town's first workshop. After four decades as a single state enterprise in East Germany, the factory was privatised in 1994 and became Glashütte Original. The Sport Chronograph belongs to the young brand's push to answer Switzerland directly: a sports chronograph designed and built in Saxony, with a numbered caseback to mark each example.

We sourced it for the case. Those twelve facets catch the light like a cut stone, and on the matching faceted bracelet the effect runs all the way around the wrist. The black dial keeps the chronograph legible and clean, with no date to break its symmetry. The Sport Chronograph is rare today, and rarer still on its OEM bracelet, which is how we found this one. A German sports chronograph with real character. Curated with intent.
